Green Building ExperienceH.P. Cummings has been an advocate of GREEN BUILDING for over ten years.
 Our first major experience with Green building preceded LEEDŽ Certification. Vermont Law School is known for its focus on Environmental Law. H.P. Cummings built their New Class Room - Oakes Hall, which received the Vermont Governor's Award for Excellence in Pollution Prevention in 1999 and is an early model of affordable sustainable design.
H.P. Cummings was honored to be chosen as the Construction Manager for ECHO at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain which became the first LEEDŽ certified building in the State of Vermont.
Our LEEDŽ experience as of December 2009 includes 3 Silver, 3 Gold, and 2 Platinum certifications.
